“ Must try the special bean curd with veggie. They have the beds hokkien Mee also. Bought 2 friends from Sabah and Sarawak. They really enjoyed the delicious food ”
“ When it comes to dim sum, this is one of my favourite place. It's a bit expensive but the food and service is worth it. They are freshly made and tasty. Should also try their Hokkien mee. It's ingredients are a bit different than usual but delicious. ”
“ I dine here a few times for a couple of friends wedding. When it comes to wedding, it is quite a pity that there are few main pillars that does block the view of the main stage setup. Besides that, I think it is all good. The food here is superb, easily one of the better wedding food I've tasted. It was the full 9 course meal and every meal was very nicely crafted and presented. Besides wedding food, the dim sum here is also quite famous. I had lunch with a bunch of friends before and we all thought they did very well with their dim sum. The price is steeper but it's no big deal when food is good. ”
“ This place is great when it comes to having a family reunion dinner. Oriental Pavilion here serves up elevated chinese dishes. They also have set menus that cater up to about 10 people or more. My family and i rarely come here for dinners but sometimes we come here for the dim sum. Here in oriental pavilion, they serve dim sum on weekends in the morning. I absolutely love their dim sums here especially the har gao, siew mai, chao lo bak, char siew paos and more. They are served hot and it always taste really fresh. The service here can be quite slow if you order cooked dished like claypot chicken feet and dishes like that. Every time i come here, we always need to queue in line for a seat. So i suggest that you make a reservation before you come. Whether if it's a dim sum breakfast or even dinner time. ”
“ Oriental Pavilion is a really good place for family gatherings like Chinese New Year reunion dinners as the environment there is very welcoming and it's packed with people, which might not always be a good thing because whenever I go to Oriental Pavilion, you have to queue up to get a number and wait for your turn to be seated. The price is affordable and their char siew bao and lo bak gou are really tasty. However, nothing beats their Fook kin min or Hokkien Mee as it comes out hot and fresh and they include lots of tiny pieces of pork lard! ”
“ This restaurant is famous for their Foo Kin Mee. I decided to try it to see what was so good about it. Before I even tasted the dish, I could already smell the smoky smell, which indicated that it was probably good. Sure enough, my first bite clarified the fact that it was delicious. What makes it so delicious? You may ask. Well, it's mainly because it gives a smoky smell, but there's another reason too: they're very generous with their pork lard. I love pork lard. Without it, the foo kin mee wouldn't taste as nice. Normally, the Foo Kin Mee that I eat never has enough lard but this one has so many pieces that I even got sick of it! Their Foo Kin Mee isn't the only good thing though. There's the Siew Yoke, Char Siew, etc. They also have quite nice dim sum. Foodwise, it's amazing. However, be prepared to wait as it's normally packed with people. I would be surprised if you manage to find a table without any waiting. Overall, this is one restaurant I would definitely come back to if I ever crave Foo Kin Mee. ”
